Model History
The BMW E30 was the second generation 3-Series introduced in 1982 until 1994, it was the successor of the E21 and was the first 3-Series offered as a saloon (4-door), estate (5-door) and spawned the legendary M3. The 325i housed the M20B25 engine that produced 168hp and was paired with either a 5-Speed Manual Transmission or 4-Speed Automatic Transmission. The E30 3-Series had its interior, exterior styling and handling revised to reduce the amount of oversteer as experienced from its predecessor. Today, the E30 3-Series and M3s have become cult classics – reminding car enthusiasts of the simplistic and timeless design with BMW’s classic handling and performance.
