In 1995, Honda introduced their first Integra Type R to the Japanese Domestic Market.
The Integra Type R is equipped with a 1.8-liter DOHC VTEC in-line 4-cylinder (B18C) engine. In the JDM Type R this engine produces 200 PS (197 hp; 147 kW) at 8,000 rpm, whereas in the US models, it produces 195 hp (198 PS; 145 kW) at 8,000 rpm and 130 lb⋅ft (176 N⋅m) of torque at 5,700 rpm. In 2000, Honda launched the Ultimate version of the Integra, the Type R X, which was only produced for one year. The Type R X version further optimized the engine performance and driving dynamics. Due to its limited production, the Honda Integra DC2 Type-R X has achieved legendary status among automotive enthusiasts and is highly sought after by JDM collectors. Its combination of high-revving engine, excellent handling, and engaging driving dynamics has earned it praise for its performance capabilities.

All body panels line up straight. There are a few minor scratches on the rear bumper, front driver-side lower lip, and on the passenger-side rear quarter panel. All these can be easily touched up to restore their original appearance. To keep a neat exterior look, the current keeper decided to de-badge the whole car so all the red Honda emblems are absent. All the surrounding window rubber trims are still in good condition showing no signs of cracking. The headlights, side indicators, and rear lights remain clear and all illuminate as they should.
