Model History
This McLaren 600LT was based on the 570S, that was the fourth McLaren to ever receive the Longtail treatment – which extended the car’s length by 73.7mm – paying homage to spirit of the McLaren F1 GTR ‘Longtail’ to maximise performance and drive to the absolute limit. It shares the same lightweight titanium exhaust system mounted on the rear of the car similar to the Senna. As with most recent supercars, the 600LT features a twin-turbo 3.8L V8 – producing 592hp weighing in at an astonishing 1,246 kgs.
History File
This McLaren 600LT presented to you at the Car Farm is finished in Ceramic Grey equipped with the MSO (McLaren Special Operations) Clubsport Pro Pack which includes the Super-Lightweight Carbon Fibre Racing Seats, Carbon Fibre Interior Upgrade, and MSO Defined Gloss Carbon Fibre parts throughout the interior and exterior. This 600LT is currently unregistered in Hong Kong, with a mileage of 4,260 km – now exclusively available at the Car Farm.
Exterior
As expected with a car with such low mileage, we did not notice any markings i.e. scratches, dings or dents on this 600LT’s Ceramic Grey (MSO Defined Exterior Paint). The paint is flawless and reflects light in all directions. The gloss carbon fibre parts throughout this 600LT is stunning and matches the exterior paint’s shine. The wheels are finished in Gloss Black, with the signature McLaren orange callipers. The surrounding headlights, side indicators and rear taillights are in excellent condition and fully functional.
Interior and Trim
Open the doors of this 600LT, we are immediately greeted with a full ‘by McLaren Designer Interior Alcantara interior with orange accents. This 600LT is equipped with the same seats found on the McLaren Senna – which are super-light weight carbon fibre racing seats with no signs of wear, scratches or stickiness. Take a seat and you are surrounded by the centre console and dash, which are all looking beautifully and fully functional. The driver’s digital screen appears great, with no missing pixels on the screen and is user friendly.
Engine and Running Gear
The 3.8L V8 fired up with no hesitation at the push of the engine Start button. As the engine was warming up, we did not notice any excessive smoke or strange smells coming from the exhaust and engine respectively. During our test drive, we tested both driving capabilities of ourselves and the 600LT. We were very confident around the tight and fast corners and felt the difference of the LT. Every shift of the gear was instant, thanks to McLaren’s Seven-Speed Dual-Clutch Automatic Transmission. Overall one of the most beautiful cars, exclusively available at the Car Farm.
